Michigan State University

MSU is a reputed land grant university ranked among the top teacher education departments in the world. Collaboration with them over the past few years has included faculty visits, joint workshops etc.

Administrative Training Institute, Mysore

The University recently signed an MOU with Administrative Training Institute (ATI). The work involves designing and delivering a four week programmes for senior officers of the Government of Karnataka, from various departments. The MOU offers an excellent platform for the University to directly impact development work as the officers lead implementation of several projects.

Institute of New Economic Thinking

The Institute for New Economic Thinking (INET): INET was created to broaden and accelerate the development of new economic thinking that can lead to solutions for the great challenges of the 21st century. INET is supporting this fundamental shift in economic thinking through research funding, community building, and spreading the word about the need for change. In line with our mandate to promote research in the areas we are engaged in, the University initiated advanced graduate research workshops that allow research students from across many Indian Universities and abroad to come together, collaborate and learn from distinguished academics drawn from a variety of institutions. These workshops are free and participants are invited based on their current research work. Two workshops have been held so far, with one focusing on Poverty and Globalization and the other on economics.

Partnerships for Field Practice

The University partners with several other organizations; NGOs, other academic and research institutions etc. in enabling learning opportunities for students for their field practice engagements

In addition the University also partners with several institutions, as part of the publications and resource creation work. Key partners include Digantar, Eklavya, Teacher Plus and Rishi Valley.
